What is this?
Twelve years of a newsletter is a lot to face down an A–Z index of. This page picks an entry at random — a person, an organization, a concept, or a piece of media the newsletter has written about — and pairs it with one of the episodes that mentions it, so there's somewhere to start reading without having to know what you were looking for first.
Entries need at least three linked episodes to show up here. Most of the index doesn't: well over half of all entries appear in exactly one episode, and landing on one of those is a dead end rather than a thread worth pulling.
